About A portrait from my enjoyable TFP session with Casey. The most amazing thing is her age...MUCH younger than she looks!

This was shot with my 50mm f1.8, and I was silly enough to shoot at f2.0 with sufficient light and even fill flash, which is why one eye is in focus, the other out. Oh well, live and learn.

Beautiful portrait & DOF is spot on, like the catchlights too. Thanks much Paul for your kind comment to my image, best wishes.

Martin,
Firstly, you don't have to show that you don't know much about photography and basic rules of balanced fill flash!
Secondly, you don't have to butter up Paul, I commented on his picture and he took it like a gentleman.
Thirdly, calibrate your monitor!!

Paul,

T Bone is out of his f*#King mind. You delivered a "Masterful" capture... Only a bit soft due to the f/2...

Well done my friend,

Marty

Paul,

Ok, I think I got it... "Pro Bono"... The lawyers call it that... LMAO...

I did the same with my 1st model and the last one I shot come to think of it, as well...

That only makes us broke camera junky's... LOL

Marty,
TFP = Time for Prints or Trade for Portfolio.
This is where I donated my time toward Casey, who wants to be a model, and I gain some lovely images for my portfolio as well...with no charge for either of us.

I think a bit too much fill flash.

Paul,

You’re moving on to portraits? Good deal my friend…

My first studio shoot was a mess. I even shot with a shutter speed of 1/2 of a second, just to get an f/11 aperture... Poor girl couldn't even breathe. By the way, what is TFP?

It is my opinion, that this picture is perfect in every way, save the DOF...

Pretty girl and nicely exposed. Just a little shallow as you've mentioned. Still, a very nice capture.
