Paul, you are a man who enjoys his town (there was a time, back in the day, when I enjoyed mine). This is a nice capture (i could go for some Bar B Q right now - I'm starving) the only thing I would maybe do is crop out some of the empty parking space asphalt to bring us in a bit closer. Basically a slightly tighter crop. Looks like a cozy hang out, Mark

Yeah. They've managed to minimize the fire to a smoulder...and then throw lots of meat - right on TOP! ;)

Yeah, that half hour or so after sunset is just a great time to shoot neon. Thanks for your comments, Megan.

The lighting outside is just enough for the sun to light up and glow but not so dark that it makes the sign distracting and overdone. Very nice.

You did such an impressive job of balancing the ambient light with the light from the sign. Beautiful warm atmosphere.

Paul,
1st of all "Texas Rocks". Ok, now that's out of the way...
I love the fine grain regarding the ISO 800 and I'm impressed... Although I would try to shoot it using a shutter speed of 1/30th @ f/8 for a sharper DOF...
Well done my friend,
Martin
