Hi Edward, Very intersting combination of subjects in this photo - quite surprising.... Does this restaurant act as the local garage and pawnshop too? Good array of tones, yet increasing the brightness in the darkest parts of the gas pump might've balanced the overall composition a bit. In the current presentation, the pump takes up a rather large area, making it more dominant than the other elements (car - is that an old Citroen Ami? and table & chair)
I think if you'd panned right a bit whilst taking this photo, you could've solved that. Cropping a bit off the left side would also work, but I think taking a few steps back, including the pedestal of the gas pump in the composition, probably even taken from a lower PoV, would've really made this photo. Still, quite a surprising scene, well captured.
