I like the way you kept the sky blue here. Was it because you kept a wide aperture?

This seems like a good candidate for B/W to me as well, but the blue sky translates to a very dull gray when I take a look. Surely there is a way around it, but I don't seem to have the tools on hand to try it out. Very interesting image anyway... It might be fun to separate it into quarters and make a montage that relate the components to each other?

Such splendid abstract forms and a superior composition, Becky. This would make for a fine grayscale image too, however, colors do more justice to this image. This is really, really nice.

This is a nice abstract. IMO, this would be great in b&w with bit more contrast.

Although I really liked the deep blue and silhoutte of the first try, this has a wonderful abstract-ness to it as well. I like the almost mirrored effect of the two core parts of machine in the upper left and lower right... helps to anchor the image and give more depth. For f5.6 you nailed the DOF... looks good!
