A very balanced composition! the presence of water is enhancing, creating the splendid reflection. The swan is all that was necessary to give warmth to this image. It exudes peace and quietness. Beautiful! YT

Thanks for your comments as always, Roger. Pleased it brings back pleaseant memories maybe rather than feeling homesick. The shot is to be used for the cover of a magazine so it needs space top and bottom for the copy....a big swan on the foreground, on this occassion, would be a distraction.

This makes me feel a bit homesick! Typically English scene... what a beautiful country. A larger swan, or rather a closer one, would have nicely filled the foreground and added some ripples to the reflection. If you're that close, try feeding her. [g] What is the event planned for October, your wedding?
