Although I like the gull being in the photo, I'm attaching your image sans gull. I hope you don't mind. PS comes in handy!

For what it's worth, I was just kidding about the "stupid gull." I actually stood there for quite some time with the shot framed, waiting for a bird to fly through the right area. There were quite a few so I figured I'd get lucky, and I did.

Hi Larry. Was this just the other day? The day I wished I had my camera while riding home on the Coaster (commuter train)? When the full moon was out later in the evening behind clouds?
Absolutely beautiful. The bird makes the shot. Otherwise, it would just be another picuture of a beautiful day in Southern California.
You might want to clone out the bird and post it with a response to show folks how much it adds to the picture.

Larry -- I think the bird is what makes this picture stand apart from other sunset ocean pictures. I'm glad you didn't PS it out. --Jamie

Larry,
This is one of your better pictures, granted, you don't have many, but you should have cloned the seagull out in PS.

Larry, personally the bird doesn't bother me in this picture. Looks to fit the picture in my eyes. It might not have looked this good to me if the bird had been in the darker clouds, but in the open spot, I like it.
Regards,

Sunsets, oceans, seagulls, what are the odds on that? Go figure! Still a very nice shot Larry, post more.
