yep, apart from your available light... I've heard that dark skin is v. difficult to capture in general.

"underexposed" Depending on what you want... Think of how you can take a street portrait of a person with dark skin and a white shirt usig a slide film... 1/3 of a stop up and you got an overblown shirt... Ciao:)
