Yes, another heart-warming rabbit picture, but (as I remarked so heartlessly in the other shot) there's a tad too much bounce-back/reflection (or something) on the head.

This is a perfect example of the good a critique at UF can do. I had not noticed the DOF was as shallow as it was but now that it's been mentioned it seems obvious. I think a little deeper field would have served well in this case . . . although I'm still pleased with the image in the shallow DOF too.
As for the "rabbit shape" . . . the wood grain on the lower left and the wood along the right side are the den opening within the warren. I cropped to leave bunny only. If I'm correct, the too full comment refers to this crop, but that's the price I pay for eliminating the den.
I very much appreciate your taking the time to give some seriously considered comments. And you're quite right . . . it's still a fun capture!

Very funny shot - made me laugh!
As you've CC'd it, let me comment in a little more detail. While the tip of the nose and the straw in the foreground are perfectly sharp, I find the image a little soft around the rest of the head. Maybe a tad more DOF would help here. It also looks a little blown out between the eyes, and I find it just a bit too full on so that the "rabbit shape" is lost.
I do like your "about"...
Hope you don't mind all that and that you find something there that could be helpful.
