Too bad there's no rain this year, Don, you must miss all this colour and greenery. I like the layers of hills in the background, and the detail in the cloudy sky.

Not the typical scene that comes to mind when one pictures a desert. Never-the-less, we know that the living desert can be a beautiful place.

Hi Don,
It's great to see a desert scene in full bloom, quite an unusual sight, I presume. Very nice shot, eventhough the clouds make the light a bit flat. The haze introduces a very nice distance cue, and the patterns in the sky add to the feel of the photo. Nice one!
