Ansom, first of all I like the photo Second, I too agree on contrast and colours. May be exposing spot to the highest light would have increased the contrast and cutted down the highlights on the petals, almost blown-up. This helps, perhaps, to ernhance the colours (pardon: colors). Cheers.

Thank you Mary, Arthur, Doyle, and Clay, for the constructive and complimentary comments. This photo was taken on an overcast day immediately after rainfall from the front porch of our NC mountain cabin. Yes, it is a little soft, but sometimes this look compliments the overall mood of the image, as I would have hoped here. Can't pass up the colors. Anson

Hmm . . . sharpness? I like that (even at this low dpi) you see the stamen of the central flowers. If you had shot this on chrome or raised the contrast level would have increased the contrast but . . . my feeling is you wanted a more soft continuum like looking into a campfire as you sit reflecting life.

Anson: Very creative! I like the colors, shades, shapes and textures. I also agree about the light and contrast, although it's not significant, needing an enhancement (IMHO) . . . but this remains a good image and very original. Regards - Doyle I

Gorgeous picture Anson. Really like the shades and colours filling it. To capture the water drops is wonderful- gentle and strong- lovely hopeful picture.
