Thanks for the reply Pierre. One more question for you.
Do you clients and subject like this softness? I personally
do...but what kind of feedback do hear and is it mostly from the females -vs- males? THANKS :-) V

Hi Verna,

I don't know why I got this habit to make 2 shots at all time of what I photograph. The first one is always without any filter and the second or third one was with a cokin filter.

I talk here when I photograph a portrait or a fashion shot....sometime with a table shot I will used soft focus but very less often...

But I was doin' this before, I start, to used photoshop...

Now I used gaussian blur to accentuate the softness of the skin and the over all of the photograph.

I like the feeling of romantisme it gives to the shot.
I like the feeling to feel like in a dream....

I don't know maybe it's because I'm french, I like the romantique side of a beautiful photograph with a beautiful woman...

Hi Pierre!

very stylish indeed! Guess you created a nice series while playing in this studio. The slight (motion?-)blur on her hand and the crystal clear focus on her face make this to be an interesting shot. One minor adjustment needed for me: the red spot in the upper right corner. I would take it away completely.

Greetings, Oliver

Thanks guys for the comments, and yes Scott it was makeup. She apply maybe 3 time the usually amount she used on regular day, so it make her skin look like very smooth. Some touch up was done too with photoshop.

I agree with you Paul and Martin, the framing should be more tight and it will be eventually, the shot I upload here is the full frame of the negative, so it's not finish yet for print...I wish I had more time to work on this shot....

Thanks again for the comments.

I think the photo is marvelous as well. The only thing I might change is could you have filled the frame with the subject a liitle more??
It's a question. Not a statement.
