Hi Roland,
I can't help feeling it's too dark. I feel this is one of those situations where you've got cool stuff happening in bright light (the hills) and cool stuff happening in low light (the boats, the castle, the foot hills). I think, unless you go HDF, you've kind of got to decide which of the two bits you want to feature and expose accordingly. Me, I'd have exposed for the watery stuff in the lower foreground. I think that's your picture right there.

very nice light Roland, i like the diffeent layers of natural colors... I believe this was taken early morning because of the mist that are still visible.., the blurring of the boat i think is because of the exposure speed but I think it is trivial. very nice landscape scene of Zambales... well done!

Very well done. This forum is the last place I thought I would see a photo of Subic Bay. Your photo has an almost surreal feeling to it. The lighting at this time of day was quite challenging, but you got your exposure just right. There appears to be some blurring with an object in the water. Were you using a tripod? Although your image data does not show it, I think you probably used a fairly slow shutter speed. It may be worth the time involved to clone out that fuzzy, blurred object. Thank you for sharing this image of a very special place.
