Well presented as a documentary-style photograph. There's nothing "pretty" about this bridge but there sure is a lot "interesting" about it. Good job in preserving something that will eventually no longer be.
Best, Dave

This looks like a good way to present information of location and detail, Kathy. Showing the two created synergy - better than each alone. Eb

Wonderful pair of shots my dear Kathy and a very interesting 'about'. Wonderful shooting angle to the L/H shot which is full of wonderful detail and on the R/H the textures in the bridge are great. It looks good and solid to me but just how old is it?? Well done my dear two excellent compositions for the price of one....Best wishes..Ray (Hope THE CAFE is doing great)

Wonderul perspective of both shots of the bridge. and clever way you incorporated them together. Love the follaige around the bridge. Looks like it wants to take over but the bridge will not let that happen. It wants to be seen. Kelly

Hi Kathy, There are a lot of the remains of this kind of bridge on creek banks, on some of our hiking trails. Most of them are now just stone piles that the wooden ties used to be wrapped around. Like in your image on the left hand side. Usually you can find the remains withing a hundred yards of a newer railway bridge. Andre

Felicitaciones!!!

I love the two view collage Kathy! This doesn't look like a bridge I would want to drive on. I love finding these old tucked away icons in the WA state forest. Well done!

I'm with Rina here Kathy. I don't think I'd like to drive over that bridge. A beautiful image very well put together. All your images are so nicely "polished". This one has postcard written all over it. You and Susie should turn some of your images into postcards and greeting cards and sell them in your cafe. You have the perfect venue to try it out as a sideline and you certainly have the talent to pull it off. This is so very marketable. Great work.
Cheers - Ann :)

Great dyptich Kathy! I like how you are presenting two aspects of the bridge, one a perspective view, and the other a detail. I like both images, they relate very well in color and tones, from different angles. The gap in the center is a very interesting detail, and unusual, and the info is very useful to describe it. Wonderful vegetation and wood texture, and the color is spot-on! Great composite and great subject! Excellent presentation! Best regards, Ina

Good one Sissy. I can't believe you guys drove over that thing. I think (no, I KNOW) that I would be a little freaked out. That camera of yours (and the person pushing the shutter) is getting some fantastic landscape shots. Nice idea with the double. Don't think I would have thought of that. The lines it creates are really different and pleasing. Very good! Suz

Well spotted Kathy. Not sure I'd be confident enough to drive over it though! :) Like your presentation of the bridge, well thought out and put together as a diptych!
Quite like being shown around your neck of the woods there. Your series on the "Twin Sisters" was awesome!
Cheers, Rina.
