This shot really appeals to me. Love the lighting and the reflections are to be envied. (We haven't had rain for 80 days or so....) Do like the tones in the shot. Looks cold and looks like more rain was on the way. Thanks for commenting on my yellow rose. Big color contrast when compared to this shot. Want to trade some sunshine for some rain? LOL Jan

What a wonderful scene with lovely building. Very well detailed photograph with fine elements. Love the perfect reflections, the geometrical formations. It's always so hard to remember exactly what I did in PS to a shot. After desating it I used selective color to add some depth and a touch of sepia. I did very little sharpening. I didn't select the sky at all. Hmmm! Interesting! Thanks for the thoughts Don! Much appreciated!

I don't know what would have happened. If you have selected the sky and then darkened it that might have done something like this. This is interesting. Let me know if you have worked on the picture in any way. Thanks for your very nice comments on my work. Don.

I think you might be right, Don. There does seem to be a hint of a halo. Not knowing an awful lot about the ins and outs of photography, I'm wondering why that would be. I know that sometimes happens when a sky is "dropped in" but that is not the case in this shot. Any ideas?

A great old barn but doubt that it is used much any more. The tones are very nice. Do I see a halo around the barn roof area or is it my old eyes? Great reflections. Don.

Kathy, that is a nice reflection in the small standing pool. I can't believe the windows turned out that sharp. Incredible. Very nice tones in the photo. I like the birds on top of the barn. Adds some human element to the picture.

I know what you mean Kathy. All the rain we're getting here is really getting depressing. I'm solar poewred and I really miss the sun but as you say it makes for some great pools of water reflecting some nice images if we only hunt them out.
This looks like something that I would find hanging in a museum. Beautiful tones gives it a lovely old world feel to it. The quality is superb. Razor sharp with wonderful details. I love the subtle reflection. Lovely tonal depth and excellent composition. I love it.
