Here I go swimming upstream! Although to me the flower seems much more dramatic on the black background, in this image the flower itself is stronger. In particular, I like the detail without the distraction of all the water drops, which seem a bit much to my eye. However, there is something about this background that doesn't seem quite right...perhaps it is too evenly white. You said there was no PS manipulation, so I am curious how you shot this. By the way, I actually enjoyed both images, as I have many of your recent flower shots.
