Anree, they both "talk." You know the wonderful vocabulary that Siamsese cats have--almost singing sometimes--well, Shetland sheepdogs have a repertoire of non-barking sounds to rival this.

Hi Jason, thank you for your comment. Tenzin is a very unusual cat. I got him when he was about 6 weeks old and visited him since he was about 3 weeks old. He is very intelligent and curious.
This shot was taken because he decided to get comfortable near my studio lights. So it was easy to capture him. He just stayed there under the warm modeling light. :)
