Yeah I dig this one. I like how the moon is way up there so you have all this dark space with just the little moon up there but yet it adds so much to the composition. I like the street light - works well for me. Think I said on the last one makes me feel like it's out of a film. Maybe "Man Who Fell to Earth" by Nic Roeg with David Bowie. (will have to check the DVD again) Great work, Mark

I really like it. I love the moon and sun both being on there. You merged them well, it looks really natural. Very nice.

Hi Paul, Me? I felt rather confused, as I could've sworn I already commented on this photo, thinking you hadn't uploaded anything in a while, only to find out its a different shot... Sorry.
I think the contrast in this photo is just a tad more balanced, yet the ominous and overpowering / theatening feel of the previous one prevails.... As to the street light, it may balance the moon, but I feel it's a bit too much. It surpasses the moon, attracting more (maybe too much?) attention. Besides, for me, It also made me realise the center of weight in this photo is slightly shifted to the right.
Yet, there's something about this shot, that really manages to grab my attention. It makes me think about similar shots one could've taken (panning up even a bit more to exclude the rooftop on the left from view, getting in closer (if possible) to use the three chimneys and the perspective to point out towards the moon, and so on) I doubt that is what you wanted to hear though, but I think it's within the essence of any good shot to elaborate on what we're seeing. And in that essence, it's a very good shot. Me likes much!
Cheers,
Hugo

Thanks for your recent visit, Paul. This is a very successfully rendered photograph, the color transitions are perfectly smooth and the silhouette of the industrial complex is very powerful. Greetings: György
