About This is my husband with our one week old son, Ryan. I love this photo as it depicts the love his daddy has for him and the connection I hope they have throughout his life. I know these type of shots are everywhere, but it is special to me as it is of the two main 'men' in my life.

It is truly a magical time when you hold your baby for the first time. I did not sleep at all Ryan's first night as I couldn't take my eyes off him - I didn't want to miss a single minute! Amanda

Thank you Bernadette for your great comment. As I said I know these photos are everywhere, but I am glad you have seen what I seen in it. This photo makes me cry everytime I look at it - my two 'men' - I am so lucky. Amanda

Amanda, what a beautiful way to introduce Ryan to the world. I find it hard to express the emotion that you have captured here between the two men in your and Jenna's life. Wonderful, wonderful job. Congratulations. Kristin

Congratulations Amanda, you clever, clever girl. Kristin passed on the wonderful news of the safe arrival of your precious son a few days ago. Your photo is exceptional (brought tears to my eyes). Hope you're all doing well and hope to see you soon. Love Kiny xxx

When my first son was born, he spent his first night sleeping on my chest in the hospital room. ;)

A truly beautiful photo, Amanda. Maybe these kinds of shots are "everywhere", but that doesn't detract in any way from your portrait. This one is excellent - the lighting is great, and this particular photo is very special because the subjects mean a lot to you. I know exactly what you mean.

Thanks for sharing it with us. :)
