I enjoyed the simplicity of this shot, Todd! It's a whole lot of white stuff out there in northern Ontario, eh?
As was mentioned, I'd agree that just a little less sharpening would make this an even better shot.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the constructive comments on this picture. I am quite pleased with the composition, and I can certainly see what you mean. I atribute that to two factors. First, my editing skills are almost non-existent. I really don't know what I'm doing. I am very new to this, and I have no artistic talents from the past to guide my instinctivly. Second, I did not realize that during uploads, the option for sharpening is actually to DO more sharpening, not just a question about what has been done already.
Still learning and thanks again for all your kind comments.

Very 'Canadian', nicely understated. I like the off center, creative/unusual balance. However it feels oversharpened on my moniter -- kinda like makeup, that is supposed to be invisible. When you see that it's there, it's overdone.
