Another great shot, Darlene. Your details and compositions are always wonderful. He seems to be 'fluffed' uop. The birds here fluff upo their feathers when it is cold. Is that what he is doing?

Dear Sam, I am so glad you decided not to leave, there are so many wonderful photographers here and you are one of them! I really enjoy each and every image from you, and I know many others that do too! It makes me sad that so many great people have left UF, maybe one day they'll be back.....I'm hoping. Sorry that I haven't been around much lately...I was giving some serious thought to leaving UF, But changed my mind..I have made so many Wonderful friend and met so many awesome Photographers here.
I will be around more after the holidays.

Another splendid specimen, beautifully portrayed. The ruffled feathers give him that rugged outdoor look so popular these days. ;-) It is a great shot of the bird, and the limbs are fine compositional elements.
