I´m so glad that you don´t consider me a traditional photographer:-) Hey, a moat around my home would be neat - I´ll start digging tomorrow and make Lt. Henry help me:-) He helped when we made a eeeh terrass being very effective with his big paws*LOL*

VERY cool for perspective. Lt. Henry seems very happy and with that cute Westy in tow . . . good times are sure to follow. Looks cold . . . though not for Henry. Andre said it . . . it would have been good for the dogs alone but more traditional . . . and you're not what I consider a traditional photog!! I like it . . .

THanks, Andre:-) Yes, I would imagine your bouvier did the same having both the packinstinct and the herdinstinct. Having so different breeds and instincts is very fascinating, but too many people buy some breed because it looks cute not being conscious about what kind of dog it is, what exercise and training it needs and what kind of behaviour and temper is usual for that dogtype. Such a pity. Thanks for the comment! Best wishes Annemette

A very original composition Annemette. The two dogs together by themselves would also make a great shot, yet more conventional.
Interesting about the Newfie going back to get your mom. Our Bouvier would never let a group get too far apart either. They are bred to herd and can't stand it if you separate from eachother. We would tease him on purpose by pretending to wander off. He would run over to us and actually hit us with his shoulder in the direction of the group to get us all back together. He figured he was doing his job. He could only relax when we were all in his line of site in a little group. :) Andre

Dear Jan Well he was. He was so eager to keep us together, and when my mother started crossing the bridge, he ran back to me and my daughter with this very happy attitude:-) I´m glad that you think the scale works well. Take care Annemette

Thanks a lot, Leonie.:-) Yes, those dogs enjoy running free, but my big fellow wants to keep the flock together although not being a herddog. He has the usual packinstinct where noone gets left behind. A nice attitude that we humans could learn something from! Take care Annemette

Does he really? It seems like the west highland white terriers have been popular for some time now other places than Denmark:-)What kind of spaniel is "Betty"?

Annemette - Little Henry looks so happy with his big sloppy tongue; I look forward to many more pictures of this handsome giant. The scale works well especially when comparing him to the white fellow following along in his wake. I enjoyed this picture very much. --Best to you, Jan
