The 'gray grad' isn't something I've worked out how to use as yet.
I played around with the image a little last night to lighten the foreground but wasn't happy with the results. I'll keep fiddling though as its a good learning experience.
Thanks for the constructive comments.

Very dramatic image, great sky and reflection.the for ground could do with a bit more light in my opinion.a gray grad would have balanced out the exposure somewhat but I dare say if you were standing on the back of a boat it would have been a full time job balancing yourself!!! Cheers Micky

Gidday Tim
We were looking at going to the Waterton Lakes, but time constraints prevented us. So much to see!Perhaps on another trip.
Look forward to seeing some photos from up past Spirit Island, I have only heard about it, not seen anything of it.

Thanks Joanna, this was taken from the back of the cruise boat so the water was a bit choppy, would love to kayak there on a still day.

Thank you Kessia & Morgan, the day was almost too good - the exposure range was quite large between the white cluds and the shadows on the hills, but a magic place.

Tim I'm jealous, a kayak trip there would have been wonderful. We were there a year ago, took the cruise to Spirit Island, but apparently the lake is even more beautiful past there, but you have to kayak. Would be a great way to spend a week.
