I like how you captured the clouds here. I remember reading in photo magazine a while back that "it's always a sunny day on the moon!" The advice for sunny days was to set your camera for f/16 with a shutter speed of 1/ISO. Try that and see how the moon comes out. Captured more detail for me.

I know how hard it is to take moon shots in which you want to bring out the detail of the moon as well as its surroundings (which is why I eventually started using double exposures). I really like the clouds on this but if you'd like more detail on the moon check out how to do it via PS: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/digital-blending.shtml. Your portfolio is looking good, by the way....

Really? Use the spot mode and the 1.5+ev to get some details on the moon and some good clouds.
