You did a fantastic shot in capturing the atmosphere in here, Kamran. This is something difficult to get in photos, but definitively the ultimate aim in my opinion! Many pictures are well composed but still don't tell us anything beyond the subject in it. This was not the case.

Wonderful capture! I think it will also be very beautiful if this was taken from a lower angle, closer to the Quran reader and showing some of the architecture, or maybe not but just a thought :)

Kamran my friend, this is a nice picture. Full of texture, in his cloth, his "sorban"(dunno, that's in indonesian language) on his head, and also the pattern of the carpet. But most of all, I like the spiritual atmosphere created by his expression. I agree with you, Islam is a peaceful relligion, same like the others. It all depends on the individual on how he kept his faith. In my neighbourhood, I am surrounded by a Muslim community, yet we live happy together. Even when my father passed away, they announced that on the nearby mosque nearby. I feel sad and angry whenever anyone tries to provoke his neighbors by using relligion as their motivation. It's been really nice to know you. Congratulations, I think I said too much...:)
