This one made me smile while at the same time, a bit sad. I think what Sorrente meant was that your photos tend to cause people to get a bit emotional. I think disturbing was just a poor choice of word to use. Your photos sometimes reflect the inhumanities and sad reflections of our time. I commend you for getting out and documenting such events.

Excellent, Larry! A very poignant photo, especially knowing this little boy's predicament, yet it can't help but bring a smile to my face! It's hard to believe that you've only been shooting photos for a short time - you've got a great eye and instincts as well as talent!

lovely shot. some kids have terrific character for hamming things up at that age. No eye contact I see. I expected that looking at the thumbnail. Wonder if that has anything to do with his predicament.

Hi Larry, i don't like the frame and the colour dominant in this almost sepia tone. Apart that (it's a PERSONAL point of view) this portrait is amazing. I don't know what exactly is, maybe the pose, maybe the subject itself maybe his young but yet wise face, anyway this shot impresses me.
A very good job. 7 Ale
PS: your portfolio is good...keep on shooting !

Excellent tone and textures Larry! The contrast of the dark and light fits with the theme of the photo. This is a true to life capture of the heart-breaking reality of the street children in Manila. Thanks for sharing it.
Also, thanks for your comments... You'll see El Nido's sun rays soon enough!!! It's beautiful.

yesss! awesome pose. All the energy in that kidshows in that pose. But it also shows a little bitterness that must be in his life begging for food.

Thanks, gary. I agree with you. He's just one of those hundred street kids here, I just hope so that PH government won't stop doing what they can to end this.

very heart felt and a great photo, the pose makes me wonder though, I hope he has a better future, than begging for food, that is the sad part of this,
