Now, Kim, you must be kidding when you say that you can't take a butterfly picture like this. It's really easy, I just go after them in a clover field with my lens at 300mm, with short extension tube, flash set at -1 EV, in the bright mid-morning sunshine. Oh, don't forget to use Velvia. Gorgeous DOF and detail... this embodies everything I want out of a butterfly picture... bold colours, nice background, a pretty flower and full sharpness and detail in the butterfly itself. Now if only I could take a picture like this! *grin*
