Beautiful delicate colours and evocative subject - I have spent many hours looking at scenes like this but never captured the fluidity and light you have portrayed here so well.
Best wishes, Jonathan

This I like. I've tried this on occasion, but never achieved the fantastic result you've managed to capture. Nothing to critique here - it's just an image that really appeals to me. :)

You really captured some magic light here.... I always wondering if reflected light in water could be caught to show it's beautiful patterns and lumnosity... here you show me that it can. I like this one best out of the series... I am very much the Pisces, a lover of water.

I think you are right about the shadow as there was nothing else there. It was around 5.30 pm according to the exif and I was facing the sun so it is a little strange, but there it is (undeniably :-).

Nice shot! To bad for the shadowed part at the left bottom, it isn't yours I hope?! Watch things like that next time. Good work.
Greets Tim.

Hi Tiro - I did push the contrast a little already with a histogram adjustment. Thanks for stopping by.

this is very good.. have you tried this in B&W, with maybe added a bit of contrast and some toning...? I like this a lot as it is, and it's a kind of picture i'd like to see in a series, with different postprocessing.. :-) You have good eyes.

Hi Stefan, very creative capture. The refraction of the sun in the water is excellent. It creates a variety of levels I really like. Very creative shot, and well composed. Adding something that sticks out of the water might have been another good touch, but it's not vital, and would've created an entirely different scene. Good shot, very interesting and original!
Cheers,
Hugo
