Hi,Tim - thanks for comment on my "Solitude" B/W sepia ghost town shack pic...IR and the sepia were excellent choices for this comp...has an emotional punch...so stark/contrasty...well done! - Gayle

Nicely stark and contrasty Tim. The IR is just right for the subject. I can hear the wind moaning and the building creaking.
With regards to the problems you raise on submission degredation. Do you convert the colour space to sRGB? I found once I started to use stair interpolation to downsize my images the quality improved. I use Fred Mirandas actions. Web Presenter for downsizeing and his Intellisharpen. They are very good plugins for Photoshop and cost very little $20. His upgrades all work with 16-bit files.
Thanks for your comments on my work Tim. Glad you find some interest in them. Regards John.

Tim, Cool perspective shot. Nice job keeping it all in focus, and the infrared film was a great choice. As Ray said, it adds a real mood to the photo. My only minor nit is that I wish there was a little more detail in the foreground. Regards, Chris
