Fantastic light and a tricky exposure--and you got it just right. Even though it feels very posed, the intentionalness of the pose also imbues it with a strong energy, perhaps helped by the domestic setting. Hardly a cold studio shot, this homey place feels personal and real. Strong compositional lines--I like how the carpet creates an angled arrow pointing us at the subject. One of your finest.

I like this portrait too because here's a man sitting not a woman. Usually you do see a woman with less clothes on in this kind of photo... Nice tones and good composition.
