About
The local airport had a display of several WWII airplanes. This photo is of a B-25 Mitchel Bomber that was just landing. It was amazing seeing this piece of history flying. After it landed, I had the opportunity to do a walk through. Also at the display was a B-17G bomber, a B-24 bomber, and a P-51 fighter.
An excellent capture of this historic WWII bomber. I've got to get out to another air show soon. There is so much history. I research this particular B-25 and found out it represents the 5th Air Force 345th Bomber Group but the insignia should be an Apache Head, not what is painted on it . I couldn't even find that particular insignia.
Here is a short video I made a few years back of a B-25 performing at the Chino Planes of Fame air show.
