hilarious and a bit poetic about being fitted into working life. Yeah stick it in the contest (black and white) agree the orange gives a yard stick on reality but that survives with the frame surely.

The underground can be surreal at the best of times. This is very well observed. Personally I'd have cropped this much more aggressively, but I take the point that it would no longer be an underground shot then. Regards, Gary

I saw the exhibition in the new AVE station in Malaga last autumn but I'm sure it would be easy to Google.I did a similar B/W version of the image above but with less noise and with a contrasty white bar to the side of the man.Thanks again for the idea. ... Tony

Thanks for a useful comment!Although the red bar adds an element of reality into an otherwise unreal scene it's elimination does result in a more aesthetically pleasing image.I've tried it in a very contrasty B/W version and that works too.Thanks!If it prints out well I might even enter it for the Caminos de Hierro...they seem to favour the unusual.This years winner was excellent,did you see the exhibition? ..... wonderful finding Tony, I'd crop the orange bar though and feel that can work in BW as well distorsion is amazing, very fine my best....txules
