I was thinking of Victorian painters in general, not one in particular. It seems to me your image has two distinct regions, the 'Victorian' painterly foreground and the 'digital' mountain range and sky. I'd almost expect to see a horse and cart and/or a lady with a voluminous dress coming into frame in the grassy region. No, I don't think there's too much foreground.

Thanks for commenting Gary.I'm a bit mystified by the concept of Victorian grass...can you expand on that..are you thinking of any Victorian painter?I'll be in London in September so the Tate(s)will be on my itinery together with any other gallery you might suggest.Don't you think there's too much foreground in this shot?I wanted to capture the texture of the heads of wheat.
