The bird has not teeth, ie detachable parts mounted on a bone carrier as humans have. He has saw shaped forms in his beak. Its food is mainly grass and the saw will help to cut plants in small pieces, facilitating the digestion.
And I dont think this bird is extinct, do you ;-) ?

I hate "foie gras" and I would never eat it...the poor geese.I saw one time a report on TV about the production...cruel!!!!!!!
