the feeling of this photo is tremendous, it is a photo that you can feel, the humidity and the heavy air. The composition is noce with a good leading line, I like the fence post and the detail it provides because of its sharpness. The toning of the image works well. Nice work. On Sigma lenses, I use a 14mm/2.8 daily, and also have their 17-35. the 14 is very sharp and contrasty, and is one of my favorite lenses (i am also shootin digital with a D1/x so it is not a 14 on the camera) the 17-35 is not as crisp as i would like, but it is very inexpensive and was purchased in a pinch. The construction of the 17-35 is a bit on the plasticky side, while the 14 is nice and heavy with much metal. my $.02

Seriously Felipe, I bought the 15-30 instead of the Nikon 17-35 because the 17-35 wasn't in stock at the shop and the store owner did let me try the Sigma for the weekend. I came back the next monday and cancelled my 17-35 order. The lens has incredible sharpness. Flares, despite what anybody will say, it is not worste than any other super wide angle. Distortion, seriously, nothing to wurry unless you are shooting archithecture (I wouldn't recommend it neither the 17-35 Nikon). The only drawback, the lens doesn't allow to use effect filters easily (for example Polarizer.) You can manage to use a Cokin Grad filter handheld in front of the lens (like on this pic)
It is one of my favorite lens and my best buy for the money.

Wonderful. I'm wonderig if getting a Sigma 15-30. My main concerns are about: 1. Sharpness (from your work and from dpreview users, it seems a pretty sharp lens). 2. Flare. This is hard to manage with wide angles. 3. Distortion: the 15-30 is said to have noticeable but not worrying distortion. What do you think, Yves? (my other option is the Nikkor 20 2.8, I've sold the Tokina 17 mm, not bad but...) Thanks in advance
