I was in New Jersey, and set the alarm clock to see what kind of dawn would greet me. I discovered it was a HAPPY dawn:

mmmh peter, you think the same i do. well, maybe you know how difficult it is too have a clear shot of manhattan, because of all the smog. i just leave it this way. i tried it in different variations. thanks again. all the best for you. anna

Hmm, too huge ? I'm doubting .. on the one hand, it's good for the composition you put the centre of NY to the left, on the other hand i fell quite distant, and the left of the cityscape is quite pale .. i think if you had even better light conditions (more contrast), this would not give this distant feeling imho ..
