About The light that you see in the two windows is the sunrise shining through. This is the church that my husband attended as a small child.

A great moment, catching the light in the windows makes the shot doubly interesting, Kathy. I like your ability to catch your subject through the brush.

Nicely done, Kathy. The yellow lights are great. Almost like cat eyes peering out from the deep woods.

I just love old churches, especially a Chapel. They seem so romantic to me. Is this one still in use? I really like the sunlight coming through the windows.

Very dramatic, the church looking so pristine and the tangles all around it has a visual and emotional meaning. Just the sun/son making that much light amazing. Pat

What a wonerful view of the old country church. This is alway what I imagine that one woud look like. I like how the trees frame the view. Great detals.

A beautiful through the trees shot of this lovely looking, simplistically constructed church. I love the way you have caught the sunlight bouncing off the windows, it has a wonderful effect on the composition. Beautiful delicate colour tones in the woodland area. Well done dear Kathy, a lovely peaceful and warm feeling study. My very best wishes to you as always....Ray

so lovely!!!!! the many branches framing the church create so rich patterns and textures, so rhythmically as if they were a frozen wind! the light through the windows is a fascinating poetic touch too! very beautiful and successful composition!!!

Well seen through the trees, Kathy! Thanks for the explanation about the windows, I assumed it was lights inside the church in early evening. Either way it creates a very nice atmosphere in the shot.
Dave.

The old song "Church in the Wild Wood" comes to mind. Well composed shot of this lovely old church. Colors and details are good. The warm glow of the sun makes it look inviting.

This turned out really nice. I know how hard this is to get a shot of, so congrats! And sunrise...you guys really are early birds!
The light through the windows is a great touch, and yes, in the summer this shot wouldn't be possible with the trees leafed up. Winter does have it's perks.
I also would like it cropped to the bottom of the fencepost so the eye doesn't get drawn to the lighter spot at the bottom. (It's really true what Don said!) But I like it this way too, so what do I know from nothing? )
CU tomorrow.
