WOW Kathy!!! This is gorgeous! Such stunning details in the flower and a perfect exposure on the white. A delicate and subtle shine inside the white adds a beautiful quality to the image and the background is like velvet. Razor sharp crispness overall. Just beautiful!!
Slowly catching up with what I missed while I was away. This one is a real gem.

Wow - you got your calla lily bloom just at the peak of perfection - not to mention perfect lighting, focus, background, composition etc. Much better than the two shots I got and uploaded. These sure are sensitive plants aren't they? You, Darlene and I share in this challenge of getting our plants to bloom again. Hey - thanks for commenting on my pink roses series. I was so pleased to find that there were still quite a few roses in bloom - can't wait until spring and to try out the macro lens that Rob is bringing me next week. LOL (Are we never satisfied???) Would this be also a 'peace lily'?? Looks like the one I had! I had great luck with it blooming for a few years, then I killed it suddenly...still a mystery, but not surprising!
I know I've said this before...but you manage to get such great detail in your photos! Great exposure and use of flash, too! Looks so nice :)

Gorgeous plant and beautiful capture Kathy! I have one of these and it bloomed once (it came with a bloom!) I'm still waiting for another......Your capture is just incredible and I love the background, it really makes the flower pop! Excellent work, Kathy!
I agree with Susie on the detail captured in the whites. The flash was well enough controlled to provide good lighting without blowing out the highlights.
