the idea is really great; what is distracting here is this building in the background, the plain sky (would be nice to have some clouds there) and that the shot is overexposed a little bit;

Lukasz

I made this shot in the field full of long grass. The Sun was going down when I saw this crane fly (thanks!) illuminated by the rays of light; I took my tele lens, set it to 300mm and f4 and make the crane fly sharp; the deep of field was minimal and because of this the crane fly stayed sharp when the Sun and grass in the background were blurred; there wasn't any netting or any other material hanging down;
regards,
Lukasz

like somplicity here and the shadows play; well spotted and done

interesting landscape and place, but to be honest there is too much PS in that picture and it destroys the whole feeling

clouds make very interesting atmosphere here as well as almost panoramic format you used here; however I would prefer you concentrated on these sheep only so this "building" in the right was not included in the frame

like the combination of these pairs :-) and black & wait tones, however this barrel in the upper left corner is a little bit distracting here;

nice water movement; what I miss here is a little bit of warm light sliding on the stones :-)

Hi James, there is no PS work on that shot except frame :-) and sharpening; pure scan from slide.

Lukasz

the light is really amazing but IMHO there are too many distracting things in composition (like this car and bush on the left);

Hi Jan, thanks for looking at; what do you by mean "snow cristals"? Do you mean these flowers? Is that the English name for them (in Polish they are called Rannik Zimowy)?
Thanks. regards,
Lukasz

really nice work; I would prefer you change composition a little bit
so the horizon line was not in the middle of the shot and I would move
this man a little bit further so he does not touch the frame of the shot;

Lukasz

really nice perspective but; I would move this pillar more to the
right so it would not stand in the center of the image - in that way,
I would include more bridge on the left as well;
then there is plenty of sky which adds nothing interesting here -
would be a good idea to explore the bottom part of the the pillar here
- in that way I would move the part of the bridge to the left upper
corner of the composition - it would make the perspective even better than now;
and it is a pity this pillar is bend;
regards,
Lukasz

I am really impressed about the technical details you gave us, but I did not find the picture really interesting and technically perfect; first of all I do not understand the DOF here - the lack of sharpness of this small gate in the distance really distructs my view - I found very strong connection and interaction between these two status so I would prefere they were less or more sharp;
and what about this sentence? - would be nice if you did not cut it -
there are plenty of sky here so IMHO there was space to include this sentence without cutting it;

Lukasz

lovely subject; this small tree in the distance distracts the view a little bit - maybe if you move to the right it would disappear covered by the willow; I am just wondering about square format here

Lukasz

really lie the gradation of the sky, however the color seems to be unnatural in a very strong way - did you used here any filter or postproces it in PS? for the composition I would also consider to crop the bottom part of the shot to move the horizon line and the boat more to bottom - right know the boat (the sail) seems to be almost in the center of the shot - there is too much empty space at the bottom as well IMHO;

really nice warming light in the background and good vertical composition, however I would prepare these people were totally silhouetted - the details visible now destroy this shot IMHO

this place seems to be very interesting and really lovely place for taking pictures; but IMHO this shot needs some lovely evening/morning light which could illuminate these hills and add some dimension - I do not feel the sunset you wrote about - because the lack of light the picture seems to be flat;

Lukasz

the sky and its formula is really intriguing here; like the simple composition as well; however the land seems to be too dark for me even if the tree is perfectly exposured - the land is too have IMHO;

would be very nice and good shot if these person were sharp and you still keep the background blurred; also these trunks in the upper part of the shot distract my view; nice reflections;

really excellent shot - worth EC! what I like most here is the possibility of interpretation - this makes this shot unusual!
