The level I am speaking of is the horizon line. The ground level on the right seems higher in the picture than on the left, thus the picture seems tilted to me. Still a good shot.

Here's a suggestion:
In photoshop,
choose a brush, set mode to Soft light
- set opacity and /(density?) to ~ 20 and 20
- Set your color palette to black, and it will now darken the blacks (like burn, but more subtle)
- pass over your friend several times to darken his figure until it becomes a more dramatic silhouette.
I think this would further help establish him as the subject (and very well done, too).

the light is really amazing but IMHO there are too many distracting things in composition (like this car and bush on the left);
