Both images are very good, but I love this one more! because this dark background with blossoms is absolutely wonderful and dramatic and expression is so mysterious. - I like that eyes looks different, and that right eye is looking something in darkness what i can't see; but the most i like the dark mouth and expressive mouthline, giving lot of possible interpretations (whisper/asking something/silence, full of tension? etc.)...
Poetic, dramatic, deep portrait!

Creative portrait, Phil!
when i see it (colour version too), then i don't why i think always that it's like poetic portrait of very young Canta Claus ) maybe because there are more blossom near the chin and in upper part of image?...
i think that if you would have interest and time to try it once again - this image has great potential as a psychedelic image - without t-shirt and more experimenting with expression (or pose)...

love the tones of blue and warm brown tones of earth here... great colour contrast!
Wonderfully composed image, that small figure is just in right place (-when to talk about rule of thirds), but what i like most about this image is these strong diagonal lines of clouds (and darker blue in upper corner), they seem like "pull" that little figure into sky...

Oh, this is wonderful! At first, colours are nice and warm, and secondly, I like the composition. -Forms of landscape are like inclined into direction of tower.
Blurry tree in foreground is clever choice, red berries adds joyful mood!
