Hi Ann, thanks for the comment, there is not much tide in Lake Michigan, this was just quiet water and somewhat iced over. Ther was some wind at my back which also tends to flatten the water. I will check out your latest waterfall pics, Cary

Nice work Larry, I like the addition of the pier in the right frame, gives it some reference and completes the scene, Cary

Well thank you for commenting Stephan, you are absolutely right, I guess we don't think of ourselves as subjects, rather only use ouselves as objects, mere props for more important things.

Yes, Izudin you are right my friend, used Iso 400, which I rarely use, but forced myself to experiment with it. It is useful for a scene lie this, but there is always alot to cleanup.

Wow Al, that's an interesting story you have here, a freat shot to start with, lots of activity, things going on all over the place. super exposure and composition. The ship in the background is the clincher for me. Take a look at the one I just posted, Same water system man!

Hello Eb, I know about the lack of outdoor palnt life, jus tbrought the last of theme in last nite, think I lost a few. I hate to buy flowers, but I guess will have to do whatever it takes. Indoors is pretty good because you have more control, especially from the wind that always caused a focus problem outdoors, have fun and keep on shooting, Cary
