Cool photograph! How did you adjust the colors? A levels adjustment might have put a little more bounce into this one. Also, and I really hate to say this, you might want to saturate the blues a bit. I really like the perspective the fish eye gives for this one alot.

Great picture but it lacks some DOF, i would have wanted to see the wings sharp all over, the 180 can be a great Macro lens, i dont know what the filter thread is on your lens but if it is 72 mm or 77 mm you can get your self a Canon 500D close-up lens that will take you and your lens into another dimension. Try it you?ll like it, take a peek into fred mirandas macro forum and you will see what a clos-up lens can do to your images.
Best regards from sweden

Li... The composition is interesting. I think you need to clone some clouds in to the left upper conner..I don't think the flares help the image... If you got to Hue and saturation you could add abit of yellow so image is not so brown and drab...A bit more contrast will give it more life...That's just my opinion I could be wrong...

The emotion of loneliness is really well captured in this photo. The expression in Holly's eyes is really good. It would have been so great if Holly would have been in perfect focus though, especially her eyes. The unsharpness keeps this from being much stronger, because the composition is really working well too. One other point is that the yellow things in the left of the photo are a bit of a distraction. It's not really possible for me to tell what they are and that makes my eyes go there again and again to try and identify it. Apart from these two points, this is a nice photo. I hope you'll be able to try it again. Regards!

I love sils that have solid blacks and this one is just great. The angle of the bird's neck is interesting, and the detail in the water adds to the mood. The upper and left areas are a little washed out,but apart from that a very good sil in my opinion.
