Ian - great photo, much nicer capture that my windmills, I will have to try a longer exposure, what a fantstic result! As for the lack of detail as you put it, I don't think that matters one bit - I love the silhouette, makes the sky much more dramatic!

I do know what you mean, John. On my monitor at home, it looks fine; on my monitor here at work, it looks a little on the rich side. This image appeared recently on the front cover of a UK photography magazine and in that reproduction the sky looked just as I hoped it would.

Once again a stunning photo, amazing DOF throughout, and so refreshing to see that you weren't tempted to bump up the saturation after the shot. Has a real Olde English feel to the image - Fantastic!
