Hi Cathy thanks for the critigue, I thought that I'd try a different angle on this bird of prey and you're right it is over the shoulder of the bird, it was achieved using a long 400mm focal length lens, a smallish aperture and a lot of luck. It wasn't disturbed as it was a long focal length and the image is heavily cropped more than 60%
