I'm big on relections, so it's no wonder I gravitated to this shot right away. I like the vertical format you chose. It makes for an interesting and pleasing shot. Well done!

I can totally see why this is one of your favorite shots. It's always fun to veer off the beaten path, plus, you will surely be rewarded with your efforts. Thanks for showing as a scene rarily seen. The b&w works well as do the chosen/unchosen weather conditions. Great job!

I like the great expanse of white which in turn emphasizes the stark beauty of the two trees. I really like your style. Thanks for your supportive and kind comments. They are much appreciated.

What a way to start your day. I'm sure you had a wonderful day 'riding on the tail' of remembering this scene. The colors are perfect. Another great job!

I like the overall effect you've created. The warm red glow really draws you into the image. I'm not sure what is on the right. Looks to be a person. Maybe a tad distracting or maybe a ghost. Either way, job well done.

This is great. I like the strong design pattern in the leaf making this a wonderful abstract. Not something you see in my neck of the woods. The detail is fantastic. Welcome to UseFilm!

What a difference to our year here in NE ,which has been so prolific and green. I wasn't aware of how terrible things have been for you in Portugal. Thanks for opening our eyes and portraying the stark beauty remaining with this tribute.

I like what you've done using the crowd as a silhouette, especially the fellow on the left standing there much like a toy soldier. The DOF could have been sharper, but all in all, very well done.

Ok...I'm with you for the simple fact that this is not your typical sunrise shot and I like untypical things. Points for trying something different and making it work.

I do agree that the compostion is good but I may try cropping just a little from the left because I get lost in all that black darkness. It seems to shift my eyes away from the brighter part of the image. I love the soft light rays you captured and the wonderful subtle blue tones. In my very poor German- "Sehr gut gemacht "

Very flattering portrait. I like the composition and the hint of a background so as to not take away from this beautiful lady. I'm sure she must be quite pleased with the outcome.

Well done. It would be interesting to learn more on the technique involved and film type used. I will have to surmise the information for myself I guess. I do appreciate the image for its stark beauty.

I had the pleasure of looking through your portfolio tonight and was impressed by what I encountered. Your vision is unique, fresh and original. I liken alot of your work to an artist whose name escapes me at the moment, but I will remember it later. There is alot to behold in your images and they deserves a slow going over again at some point in time when there isn't so much else to see here at Usefilm. I also appreciated your remark from Julian Barnes. Very appropo. Congrats on your many visual achievements!
