I thought that too (still do!), a huge white caterpillar marching up the hill...
But I do like the photo a lot. The colour contrasts (particularly the rich brown) and lines make what is basically a very simple subject, an interesting and pleasing photo.

I agree! The contrasting tones are very eye appealing. Looking at the thumbnail, I thought the line of trees was a catepillar:) Nice work.
