Stunning!

took me a while to get how you did this. it's just brilliant!
the blurred trees make a beautifull border line.

will put it in my favourites.

congrats,

hi roberto,

quite dramatic street photograph! the composition adds a lot to it.

very appropriate in this time to make us all think a bit.

merry christmas to you and a great 2005.

also thank you for your habitual and kind support.

hi hugo,

is this your first upload to usefilm? don't think so but i can't believe you deleted it!

love the photo! quite subtle as richard puts it and very intricate.

if we notice well enough we have 2 green doors, 2 blue doors, 2 salmon pillars, 2 grey steps and 2 yellow bicycles.

also love the way the shadow precisely follows the bicycle forming a T.

and this is morocco alright!

well and i came all the way back here in your extensive portfolio to wish you a merry christmas and a 2005 full of great photo opportunities like this one!

also to let you know that your unfailing, thorough and kind support is always greatly appreciatted.

hugs,

sérgio

hi pawel,

great catch, but it took me time to understand if he was eating or wounded. the feathers in the floor are almost like his. it would be great if you could explain more in the title(like the species and how did you catch it).

great expression caught and great flash control.

regards,

sérgio

like your feelings, unmistakably one of your's.

would like to see this with no tight crop, just the way it turned out, but that's just a nit pick.

impressive work oliver, never thought of that! now i have something more to experiment with

in the thumbnail it's not noticeable but it's fantastic the way the building appears to be standing on top of the bridge, and the tension generated by that is very interesting.

sérgio

hi hugo,

this last triptych of yours reminds me my first college assingnement: we had to decompose and recompose the 3 basic shapes in order that, in the end each composition could be referred to the original.
this 'goddess' of your's it's definetly not a basic shape but it sure is a pure one and in all these photographs you show all there is to show about it... and you tell much more.
they all have an superb graphical quality to them, but the most important is that brilliant synthesis each one of them has.

in this one the thing i admire most is how you managed to almost invert the shape of the car with that hole in the clouds. it creates this dynamic symettry that does a lot to accentuate the perspective.
also love the way we can see that rotating headlight at the same angle as the tire.

congrats for this top notch triptych! =)

best regards,
sérgio

the silhouette really makes this spooky.

i would crop it a tad from the top but i also like the effect of the web.

rozmy i always think: 'this can't be true!' when i first see your photos. the reason is, i guess, by the fact that they look so much like surrealist paintings more than representations of the real life. your photographs are so well conceived, framed, composed and controlled that they become just perfect themselves.

well this is almost perfect! the only nitpick is that your dodging could be less apparent.

congrats on the SC rozmi!

for me what makes this image excelent is the boy in the first plane closing his eyes with an attitude and kind of abstracted from all the excitement around him. don't know why nobody has mentioned it... what ufo?

make love not war?...

very cool and original. the effect of the transparencies is great resembling an x-ray.

it would be awesome if you would give a bit more attention to the composition, framing and exposure.

you really have a way with your models gertrud.

this is so hipnotic. it is like has tough you created a tension and/or a high rapport between you and her and then you captured it.

i've seen portraits from you with some different models but what i remember is that there is always a constant feel about them. maybe it is just that you pick them very well, but my guess is that you can really get them to show what you want.

sérgio
