Sergio has a good point. I didn't pay attention to the boy either who makes the picture even more interesting. My eyes followed the crowd. Here's a different crop idea to remove the guy going out of frame.

for me what makes this image excelent is the boy in the first plane closing his eyes with an attitude and kind of abstracted from all the excitement around him. don't know why nobody has mentioned it... what ufo? :)
