About: Hi! I'm 28 and live in Paris. I mostly take b/w pictures, because I'm color-blind and scarcely use (modern) color emulsions in their primary use (i.e. proper dev time&temp) as they are much too contrasty to my taste and so-called color perception. -even if I sometimes play with harsh colors, it's not my main goal- I don't reflect eternally about the "how-to s" when I take a picture, but try to capture a moment that is relevant to me ; I do not pretend all my pictures should be printed on postcards, they simply tell my own story as I always carry a camera. This is why sharpness isn't an issue for me. I don't care about motor drives, gorgeous diaphragm values, high-tech cameras, or hours spent on PS. I need workhorses such as my zorki 4k or my kiev 4a, older bw emulsions like HP5+, agfapan 400 or svema A2ch. Simple stuff. I prefer aiming my camera at something that will remind me the smell of the place, the ambient noise, the taste of the cup of coffee, etc rather than shooting test charts and huntig for resolving power as if it was a "Holy Graal" in photography................................................"...Sempre que podia deitava-me na relva a ouvir os pássaros e as folhas, mesmo sem vento, que brilhavam na luz.
