just looking at the highlight, I'll have a play around with it. Thanks for your input, its in my own photos I seem to miss important details I guess from being to familar with them.

Hi Larry, your bang on. North facing window, dull day, white reflector to fill in the left side a little. I shot at a very wide aperture too which helps compress the shot too - might even make jim more handsome too ;)

Grand pic of ol' Slim. Many's de pint he pulled for me...Is this window light with slight reflection? I was always a fan of natural light for Portraits. Lovely. Larry

Very nice portrait work! The use of B&W really helps bring out the wrinkles and lines in the face. Nice Photo!
